DO NOT TRY AND SNEAK BEER INTO MOZAMBIQUE, IT IS HIGHLY REGULATED!!!

We sleep 4 nights at the same resort, and this resort also supply food and beverage at one of the other resorts.  You help yourself to drinks from the fridge and write it in a book. On the last night (Thursday) we will settle our accounts, either in Metical's, Rand or VISA card.

The current exchange rate in Komatipoort is 4 Metical's per Rand, with no fees.  Additionally, to the honestly bars, you will need money for your drinks and lunch in Inhambane, a tip for the butlers at the houses and coffee and snacks on the road.  The person opening the church for us in Inhambane comes from far and we always give him a tip as well.  If you exchange R1500 - it will be more than enough.

It is also safe to use VISA at any of the bars or restaurants that we will visit.  Do NOT use your bank card at cafes or small places along the road.  Mastercard is NOT accepted in Mozambique.

The people in Mozambique are very poor, especially in the rural area where we are going.  If possible, you are welcome to donate some old clothing and shoes.  There is a great need for children's and toddler's clothes and flat shoes.

KEEP IT LIGHT - KEEP IT SMALL!!
